Social Media Engagement Campaign

Project Overview/Challenge:

Smith Farms Boarding wanted to build awareness of their luxury boarding services for dogs and increase connection with their existing customer base and social media followers.

Over six months, the Black Bear Design social media team managed Smith Farms Facebook page. During this time, we created daily owned, earned, and paid social media content that was engaging, fun and held an audience including shared dog-related news, images and several viral memes.

Smith Farms has now introduced two new services promoted heavily via social media to draw in additional interested dog owners in their area.


  • 1.5 K engagement on Facebook
  • Increased engagement on photos 65%
  • Increased engagement 750% among unique users from August 2018 to February 2019
